Statiano Farm Holidays is situated in the northern-most part of the Maremma region, bounded by the river Cecina.
Statiano is in a strategic position from Volterra (15 km.), and from the sea (30 Km.). It is not also far form Siena and San Gimignano; indeed, a perfect point for those who wish to spend holidays and enjoy the peculiarities that only in Tuscany you may find.
Statiano Farm offers you holidays with an ancient flavour and magic atmospheres as old times.
The farm is surrounded by a Mediterranean scrub vegetation, a natural habitat with wild boars, roe deer, porcupines and hawks.The farm completely runs with a biological system and produce fruits, vegetables, cereals and oil.
Statiano has been a farm since 1750 and carried out agriculture for 3 centuries.
History and nature join hands here to create a unique landscapers and atmospheres.
This land is one of the most charming of the ancient "Maremma Volterrana", although one of the most hard and unsatisfactory from the agricoltural point of view because of the tickness of the soil (claycy ground) and its salinity hat make farming rather difficult.
