In the township of Castelnuovo Berardenga, on the ancient Chiantigiana road in the Pianella vicinity, one will find the Bossi Castle in the midst of an evergreen forest, enclosed by rows of grapevines.
The Agritourism is an elegant and charming option that is made up of three seperate dwellings, each fully restored with respect to their natural surroundings:
BELLAVISTA: 400 metres away from the Bossi castle in a classic rural Tuscan house and ex-hay loft, you will find 8 additional apartments. They are decorated with simple and rustic furnishings and have there own equipped outdoor areas. In the field adjacent to the rural house, you will find the swimiming pool and see the Castle in its dominant and panoramic position surrounded by beautiful vineyards.
UPPER BOSSI: Typical Tuscan house with pillars found in the extensive Bossi Castle complex. The property has been split up in to 5 apartments, recently restored, each with their own private entrance ways furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. In the garden area, exclusively reserved for the upstairs’ guests, one can find a swimming pool. A tennis court is also available next to the Castle, which makes up the central part of the farm.
THE FARM: Rural cluster bordering the castle where 3 other apartments are found.
TOLOMEI HOUSE: The Tolomei House is a beautiful stone structure restored and situated in a small valley tucked in the Chiantagine hills, amongst vineyards, olive groves and wooded areas. The Tolomei house is well known for its elegant architectural mastery.The house is subdivided in to 5 simply furnished apartments.
Each has its own private and fully equipped garden area with a wood burning stove.
There is also a wide open space shaded by the surrounding age-old trees where you’ll find a swimming pool (5 x 10 mt) for the hot summer days.
The tennis court is 4km away, inside the Bossi castle. Parking is possible 30 metres from the columned house. |
